9 Day Cycling Holiday Andalusia – Seville to Granada Individual

Experience the magic of Andalusia on an unforgettable cycling holiday from Seville to Granada. This tour takes you through charming villages, vast landscapes and past historical highlights. Enjoy the wonderful climate, warm hospitality and a mix of culture and nature on this carefully composed route.

Program

Day 1: Bienvenidos, welcome!

You will be picked up from the airport by Pedrotours and taken to your accommodation in Seville. There, while enjoying a welcome drink, we will discuss all the information you need for a carefree holiday.

We will adjust the bikes to your personal preferences (saddle height, handlebar height, etc.) and give you insider tips for your first evening in this beautiful, elegant city and then your Andalusian adventure can begin!

Overnight stay in Seville

Day 2. Seville – Carmona

Your first day of cycling takes you to Carmona, a city with a rich Roman past. Spend the night in the charming

El Rincón de las Descalzas, a rustic hotel in the historic centre. Enjoy a walk along the old city walls and the impressive city gate Puerta de Sevilla.

Day 3. Carmona – Écija

Cycle through the rolling hills to Écija, also known as the city of towers. Spend the night in the modern B&B Hotel Écija. Discover the beautiful baroque architecture and enjoy a relaxing evening in this historic city.

Day 4. Écija – Puente Genil

The route takes you to Puente Genil, known for its olive groves and traditional cuisine. Overnight stay is arranged at Hotel las Acacias, where you can relax after a day of cycling.

Day 5. Puente Genil – Cabra

Today you cycle towards Cabra, located at the foot of the beautiful Sierras Subbéticas nature park. Your stay at Hotel Fuente de las Piedras offers an ideal place to enjoy the peace and beauty of the region.

Day 6. Cabra – Martos


A scenic ride takes you to Martos, known as one of the oldest cities in Andalusia. Spend the night at Hotel Hidalgo, a charming accommodation where you can relax and enjoy local specialties

Day 7. Martos – Montefrio

The journey to Montefrío offers breathtaking views and a glimpse of traditional Andalusia. At Hotel Casa del Arrabal, a charming hotel in a historic building, you can completely relax. Don’t forget to admire the impressive cliff church and the panoramic view.

Day 8: Montefrio – Granada

Your last stage takes you to the fairytale Granada, the city of the Alhambra and the Albayzín district. Spend the night at Hotel Reina Cristina, an elegant accommodation near the center. End your trip with a visit to the Alhambra and taste the rich Moorish history.

Day 9: Gracias y adiós!

Today the return journey home or if you want a few extra days on the coast, we can extend your stay if necessary.

ROUTE
The route begins in the vibrant city of Seville, known for its magnificent cathedral, the Giralda and the atmospheric Barrio Santa Cruz. From Seville, you cycle through the fertile plains of the Guadalquivir River towards Carmona, a city full of Moorish influences and Roman remains.
Then you cycle to Écija, also known as ’the city of towers’ because of the many church towers that adorn the skyline. After this, you cross the olive groves of the province of Córdoba and reach the historic town of Priego de Córdoba, with its impressive baroque architecture and narrow streets.
The last stages take you through the impressive mountain landscape of the Sierra Subbética, where the climbs are rewarded with panoramic views. Finally, you arrive in the enchanting city of Granada, with the world-famous Alhambra as its highlight, a masterpiece of Moorish architecture.

MEALS

We notice with this cycling trip that participants like to eat somewhere on their own in the evening and want to explore the city where they sleep. That is why breakfast is included in this trip and all other meals are not included.
