Program

Day 1: Bienvenidos, welcome !

You will be picked up from the airport by Pedrotours and taken to your accommodation in Seville. There, while enjoying a welcome drink, we will discuss all the information you need for a carefree holiday. We will adjust the bikes to your personal preferences (saddle height, handlebar height, etc.) and give you insider tips for your first evening in this beautiful, elegant city and then your Andalusian adventure can begin!

Day 2. Seville – Carmona

The cycle route from Seville to Carmona (41 km) runs along country roads and cycle paths, past vast olive groves and green meadows.

Carmona, a city with a rich Roman history, is known for the impressive Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro and the Gothic church of Santa María. Along the way you can enjoy a varied landscape with olive trees and oaks, while you can spot birds of prey such as vultures and falcons.

In terms of cuisine, the region offers delicious specialities such as salmorejo, migas and shrimp tortilla, complemented by sweets such as pestiños.

This route is a perfect mix of nature, history and gastronomy, ideal for a relaxing cycling holiday.


Day 3. Carmona – Osuna

The cycle route from Carmona to Osuna (62 km) offers a peaceful and scenic ride on roads with little traffic, ideal for nature lovers. Along the way you cycle through a varied landscape of agricultural fields, olive groves and rolling hills. Further along the route you will see vast meadows with holm oaks and cork oaks.

Osuna, a city with an impressive Roman past, exudes history with its charming old town and diverse architectural styles. The surrounding nature consists of olive groves and meadows, where wild animals such as deer and wild boar live, as well as birds of prey such as the griffon vulture and the falcon.

In terms of cuisine, Osuna is known for traditional dishes such as chicharrones and migas, complemented by sweet treats such as alfajores and homemade cakes.

This route is perfect for those looking for a harmonious mix of nature, history and gastronomy.

Day 4. Osuna – Puente Genil

The cycle route from Osuna to Puente Genil (41 km) takes you along quiet roads and paths, ideal for a relaxing and enjoyable ride.

The landscape is home to a rich biodiversity, with birds of prey such as vultures and harriers, as well as other typical bird species of the region. You can also spot small mammals and reptiles along the way, making the route particularly interesting for nature lovers.

Puente Genil has an impressive historical heritage, with the most famous landmark being the Genil Bridge. The town is also known for its centuries-old tradition in the production of wine and olive oil. The historic centre reflects influences from different eras, with charming squares and architectural gems.

Day 5. Puente Genil – Zuheros

The cycle route to Zuheros (57 km) takes you through a spectacular mountain landscape with imposing cliffs and deep valleys, characteristic of the Subbética Cordobesa. Extensive olive groves and fertile fields define the setting, with beautiful views and idyllic resting places along the way.

The region is home to a varied fauna, including majestic birds of prey such as eagles and vultures. In addition, countless small mammals and reptiles hide in the rugged mountains and dehesa landscapes.

Zuheros is known for its authentic Andalusian cuisine, with tasty specialities such as salmorejo, migas and artisanal goat cheese. Local products, such as high-quality extra virgin olive oil, play a central role in the culinary tradition.

Zuheros also has a lot to offer in terms of history. The famous Cueva de los Murciélagos, an archaeological site from prehistoric times, offers a fascinating insight into the past. The picturesque village, with its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses, exudes the charm of traditional Andalusia and has retained its authentic character over the centuries.

Day 6 . Zuheros – Cordoba 

Zuheros to Cordoba Cycle Route (68 km)

This enchanting cycle route takes you through the diverse Andalusian landscape, from rugged mountains to vast olive groves and fertile fields. Along quiet secondary roads you will enjoy the serene beauty of the Subbética region, ideal for a relaxing and inspiring ride.

Cordoba, a city with a rich history and vibrant gastronomy, offers a culinary experience with specialties such as salmorejo, flamenquines and grilled lamb, complemented by sweets such as pestiños and oil cakes.

The city breathes history, with influences from both the Roman and Islamic periods. Sights such as the impressive Mezquita-Catedral, the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos and the ancient Roman bridge over the Guadalquivir bring the past to life. The charming old town, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, invites you to stroll through narrow streets and atmospheric squares.

This route is a perfect combination of nature, culture and gastronomy and offers an unforgettable bike ride through the heart of Andalusia.

Day 7. Gracias y adiós!

Today you will travel back home or, if you wish, you can spend a few extra days. We can extend your stay if necessary.

ROUTE
The route starts in the lively Seville, known for its beautiful cathedral, the Giralda and the atmospheric Barrio Santa Cruz. From Seville you cycle through the fertile plains of the Guadalquivir River towards Carmona, a city full of Moorish influences and Roman remains.

Then you cycle to Écija, also called ’the city of the towers’, because of the many church towers that adorn the skyline. After this you cross the olive groves and rural areas towards Palma del Río, a charming place on the Guadalquivir.

The last stages take you through vast fields and quiet roads until you finally arrive in the historic Córdoba. Here you can admire the impressive Mezquita, wander through the narrow streets of the Jewish quarter and enjoy the bustling atmosphere in the squares.

MEALS

We notice with this cycling trip that participants like to eat somewhere on their own in the evening and want to explore the city where they sleep. That is why breakfast is included in this trip and all other meals are not included.
