Later in the afternoon you can pick up the rental car at the train station Sant Justa..

Day 3. From Seville trough Arcos en Cádiz

Goodbye to Seville… and time for new adventures! You can reach Arcos de la Frontera from Seville in an hour by car. A visit is definitely worth it, as a first introduction to a classic Andalusian village. Narrow alleys with white houses lead you to various ‘Miradores’ (viewpoints) from where you have a beautiful view over the Andalusian landscape.

Then you drive to Cádiz in less than an hour. After lunch a city walk with a Dutch guide through the oldest city in Europe.

Day 4. Cádiz and Jerez de La Frontera.

Today a visit to the sherry town of Jerez de La Frontera not only known for its sherry but also the “The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art” where you can visit and we also recommend a visit to the famous sherry bodega Tio Pepe. In the evening you drive back to Cadiz

Day 5. Bulls horses and Vejer de La Frontera

Andalusia wouldn’t be Andalusia without flamenco, bulls and horses, and you will see horses and bulls today, in their natural environment, on the Finca Torrestrella of the Domecq family. It is an hour’s drive from Cádiz, you will drive past your final destination for today: Vejer de la Frontera. You will not see a bullfight, but you will see these mighty animals that live in complete freedom on large estates for four to six years. Then a half hour drive to Vejer de la Frontera, where your hotel la Casa del Califa is located in the heart of the town. That’s at Plaza España.

Vejer the beautiful white village with winding streets, patios, views over the countryside, beautiful squares with tiles from Seville, colorful flower pots in many streets. Roam around and eat delicious Moroccan food in the evening in the restaurant of la Casa del Califa as a taster for your visit to Morocco!

Day 6. The coast on foot, car and by horse.

Today you can explore the coast with a short beach walk from Trafalgar lighthouse to the village of Los Caños de Meca. And a refreshing dip in the Atlantic Ocean of course! Drive from los Caños de Meca to Barbate. The town itself does not win a beauty contest, but there is a nice boulevard by the sea. You can also drive along the beautiful wild coast (without buildings) to Zahara de los Atunes, a village that has always lived off tuna fishing and has been loved by television and film artists for about ten years. And then you will discover the coast on horseback with a guide from Cortijo Mangueta. It is a 2 and a half hour trip, and suitable for all levels. There is also half an hour of practice first, so that should work! And then back to your hotel in Vejer in the evening.

Day 7. Tarifa, Africa and dolphins

Today the ride goes to Tarifa, the surfer’s paradise from where Africa is only 14 km away. The entire Moroccan coast can therefore be seen from the terrace of Guesthouse Dar Cilla, where you will stay for two nights. From Vejer to Tarifa is an hour’s drive. From now on you can probably explore Tarifa a bit. Today, dolphin and whale watching is on the program. (April to October) From the end of October, Tarifa is ideal for beautiful walks on the coast or the Estrecho nature park

Day 8: Morocco

Today to Morocco! With the ferry in 45 minutes to the other side, Tangier. There the guide will be waiting for you, who will show you the most important places in this completely different culture. He also shows you a delicious Moroccan restaurant where you can have lunch. After an extensive visit to Tangier, you take the ferry back to Tarifa at the end of the afternoon.
